The wine has a fruity character with aromas of red fruit, cherries and raspberries supplemented with notes of blossom, citrus and wild herbs. Fresh and soft on the palate, with juicy fruit, lively tannins, spices and a subtle minerality.
Grenache Noir, supplemented with Carignan, Syrah and Merlot. The grapes grow in different vineyards near Torroja del Priorat. The soil is varied, based on slate and clay. The more than 20 year old vines are cared for as naturally as possible, in the transition to organic viticulture.
The different grape varieties ferment separately in stainless steel tanks and special plastic tanks of 500 liters. The fermentation takes place spontaneously using natural yeasts, with the juice remaining in contact with the skins for 6 to 8 days before the grapes are slowly pressed. After fermentation, it is matured in plastic eggs and old 225l French oak barrels, after which the wines are carefully blended together.
