Donnafugata Mille e una Notte

This wine is a blend of Nero d'Avola, Petit Verdot, Syrah and other grape varieties. The wine matures for 14 months in new French oak barrels and then for another 36 months in the bottle.

Mille e una Notte has a beautiful bouquet characterized by fruity notes of mulberry, blackberry, plum, balsamic and spicy scents. In the mouth this wine is soft and intense and has a long finish.

Delicious in combination with slowly cooked lamb, pappardelle with pork ragout and tournedos.

Mille e una Notte literally means One Thousand and One Nights, the name of the famous stories of 1001 nights. The label shows the palace where Queen Maria Carolina took refuge on her flight from Naples.
