Generacion 73 Garnacha Tempore 2021
Generacion 73 Garnacha Tempore
The color is bright purple-red and fairly deep. The aromas are clean and quite fragrant. On the one hand black fruit, such as blackcurrants and on the other hand light notes of vanilla and caramel. In addition, something floral of violets and jasmine, which often characterizes the grape variety, and a hint of pepper. The wine is delicate and fresh with a soft mouthfeel. The wine is medium intensity, has soft tannins and a long aftertaste. The toasting of the wood is well integrated into the wine.
Generación 73 represents Paula's year of birth.
Bodegas Tempore was born from the Yago Aznar family's passion for wine. And that has been going on for four generations! In 2002, the Yago Aznar family decided that the time was right to produce their own wines from the seventy hectares of vineyards in Lécera, in the heart of the Sierra de Arcos, an inhospitable sub-area of Bajo Aragón.
In addition to a passion for wine, the family has a great respect for the land. They have chosen to plant only indigenous grape varieties, such as garnacha, tempranillo, macabeo and garnacha blanca. The vines are much older than the winery itself. The old, sometimes 70 years old, garnacha sticks are among the young plantings. The vineyards are located on a plateau, approximately 550 meters above sea level. The days are warm, but at night it cools down considerably. This ensures that the grapes ripen evenly and retain their acidity. There is no more than 300 mm of precipitation per year. All Bodegas Tempore vineyards are certified.
Paula and Victor Yago Aznar, brother and sister, are the ones who run the family business where the parents and their families are also active.
The Generación wines are the result of the knowledge accumulated over the generations, which come together in this.
