Grahams
Graham's owns many of its own vineyards but also purchases high-quality fruit from local farmers. Some have been supplying fruit to the Symington family for three generations.
Tawny
The Tawny Port derives its name from the tan color caused by the maturing in the barrel. It is a Port from several vintages and therefore of high quality over the years.
Vinification
After vinification, the wine matures for three years in wooden barrels. This allows the Port to develop notes of nuts and dried fruit. The texture is therefore lighter and softer than the Ruby Port.
Origin
The grapes of Graham's Tawny Port come from the higher Douro valley. Here the grapes grow on unique Quintas with a schist soil. This substrate can only be found here and produces Port of exceptional quality.
