Jordan Inspector Peringuey Chenin Blanc 2023

Jordan Inspector Peringuey Chenin Blanc

The nose smells of peach and pear with some wood influence. In the mouth a soft structure, vanilla, good balance with beautiful acidity and a mineral aftertaste.

Named after Louis Albert Péringuey, the 19th century inspector general of vineyards in the Cape. Under his leadership, the battle against phylloxera was fought and he supervised the import of American vines onto which the various varieties had been grafted.

Jordan Winery is professionally run by Gary and Kathy Jordan. Not only do they make excellent wines, Jordan's restaurant, bistro and guesthouses are also worth a visit.

Jordan, spectacular panoramic views of Stellenbosch and Cape Town, cool hillside vineyards planted with classic varieties and a modern winery. Distinctive wines that combine the ripe concentrated fruity accessibility of the New World with the complex elegance of classic wine.
