The Chenin Blanc Horizon has a medium body and a balanced acidity, which provides a beautiful structure and a long aftertaste. L'Avenir Chenin Blanc Horizon is a white wine from the Stellenbosch region in South Africa. This wine is made from the Chenin Blanc grape, which is also known as Steen in South Africa.
This wine is delicious as an aperitif, but also goes well with light dishes such as fish, salads and poultry.
The grapes are picked manually. The average age of the vines is 22 years. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
Three different blocks of selected grape vines are located on the highest slopes of the winery. These raised blocks are ideal for the vines to take advantage of the cool sea breezes off the coast of False Bay. In addition, the granite and slate in the soil provides an ideal environment for the development of the unique character of the Chenin Blanc grape.
