Yalumba The Y Series Shiraz-Viognier 2021

The Y-Series are a number of wines created to reflect the personal and colorful 150-year history of the Hill Smith family of Yalumba. The horse on the label represents Yalumba's past, when horses still played a central role and, in addition to being a means of transport, they were also tractors on the land. Yalumba is characterized as a family business with a modern vision that takes its responsibility for the natural environment seriously. In 2007, Yalumba was the first wine company in the world to receive the Climate Protection Award.

The wines are made modern with the greatest respect for nature. They never lose sight of traditional strengths.

The Y series is a collection of iconic classics from well-known grape varieties. Each wine is authentically made with fruit from South Australia's most renowned wine regions. Shiraz grapes have been selected for this wine, which complement the scent and aromatic characteristics of the Viognier. Every effort is made to preserve this aroma: cool fermentation, addition of whole berries and no wood aging. This way a wine is produced that is clear, aromatic and exotic.
